Astronomical Apps (“we,” “us”) operates astronomicalapps.com and publishes WordPress plugins distributed through this site and the WordPress.org plugin directory. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how you can remove it.

Information we collect

We only collect information you give us directly. We do not set advertising cookies, do not run third-party ad pixels, and do not sell or share personal information with brokers.

Email addresses you submit to us. If you enter an email address into a newsletter signup form on this website, or into the in-plugin signup card inside a plugin we publish (for example, Block Usage Analytics), that email address is sent to our email service provider, Loops (loops.so), and stored in the Astronomical Apps contact list so we can send you the content you asked for.

Website analytics. This site may use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to count page views in aggregate. We do not collect or store information that personally identifies you through analytics.

What we use your email address for

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address with anyone. We do not use your email to send marketing for unrelated products.

Your choices

Every email we send contains an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from our list immediately, no questions asked.

You can also email us at [email protected] and ask us to delete any data we hold about you. We will confirm the deletion within 30 days.

Third parties we rely on

Children

This site and our plugins are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the “Last updated” date above. For substantial changes we will also announce the update by email to subscribers.
